Routes Into Work

Are you 18 – 24 years old?

Have you been unemployed for more than 6 months?

Are you a British Citizen, come from an EU member country or have lived in the UK for 3 years or more?

If so, the Citizens Trust in Ealing can offer you modular short course pre-employment training
in one of two key sectors:

Retail

For anyone wanting to work in retail but lacking qualifications or experience. Includes:

Customer service, communication, retail administration, product knowledge, security in the workplace etc.

Security Level 2 Award Guarding and/or Door Supervisors

Covers various aspects of security work including:
Civil and criminal law, drug awareness, arrest procedures, dealing with emergencies, conflict management etc.

Multiple choice exams lead to Edexcel BTEC Level 2 Door Supervisors Award. You will also receive help with completing SIA application for a licence to practise.
