Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events

Participants must be:

• Over 18 years old
• In receipt of JSA
• Non degree holder
• Resident in the UK for over 3 years
• Looking to develop a career in Stewarding
• At Entry Level 3 or above in literacy and numeracy
• Willing to work a minimum of 16 hours, which may include shift and weekend working

Aiming to enhance employability within the Stewarding industry, this qualification is designed for anyone considering a career in Stewarding at Spectator Events.

It is ideal for individuals with or without SIA badges, who can’t find work. In particular, it will help non-badge holders by giving the opportunity to develop and gain progression within the sector.

At the end of this 11 day course you will be required to attend an intensive job placement day where you will be supported in your job applications (subject to opportunities). You will be offered a range of options including work placements, apprenticeships and employment opportunities.
