DEMONSTRATING ENTERPRISE SKILLS

Participants must be:

• Over 18 years old
• In receipt of JSA
• Non degree holder
• Lived in the UK for over 3 years
• At Entry Level 3 or above in literacy and numeracy
• Willing to work a minimum of 16 hours, which may include shift and weekend working

This course will help you to recognise your own skills in this area, in order to build the motivation and confidence to be enterprising in your everyday life.

Level 1 Award in Demonstrating Enterprise Skills. This is the ideal qualification to provide you with a basic knowledge of enterprise skills and capabilities and support you on your business plan development.

At the end of this 11 day course you will be required to attend an intensive job placement day where you will be supported in developing your own business and also your job applications (subject to opportunities). You will be offered a range of options including apprenticeships and employment opportunities.
