Olympic Spirit

Olympic Spirit

A one-year creative publishing course linked to the 2012 Olympics. Students from a variety of backgrounds are working together to create a compilation of writings and artwork, expressing their own thoughts on the 2012 London Olympics.

The work is being collated into a book to be published later this year and distributed among all programme participants, organisations and leading decision-making figures involved with the Olympics. The book will also be available to buy through selected outlets (details through this site later in the year).

The aim is produce a work which cuts across all backgrounds and cultures, so reflecting the true spirit of the Olympics.

The course is currently closed so, unfortunately, we cannot accept any more students. However, we are open to receiving original comments or designs for potential inclusion.

Please note: While we welcome your writing and artwork, we cannot guarantee inclusion as priority will be given to current students. However, all submissions will be carefully considered.

Submissions must be original work and not subject to copyright. Written work should be no longer than 200 words.

Closing date for submissions: 16th March 2012.
